DOMAINE COMTE DE LAUZE Châteauneuf-Du-Pape 2013
This blend of Grenache and Syrah offers wonderful fresh aromas of red berries, spices, minerals, garrigue, which flow through the wine. It possesses a medium body, with fine tannins that work their way into the clean finish, where they grip nicely and leave behind red fruits and spices lingering. Allow this another year or two to flesh out. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. (Best 2016-2024) - October, 2015 (JD)                                       90 POINTS

DOMAINE COMTE DE LAUZE Châteauneuf-Du-Pape
'Reserve de la Comtesse' 2013
The ‘Reserve de la Comtesse’ is a wonderful showing in 2013. This elegant red delivers pretty aromas of red berries, plum, pepper, spices, leather ashy minerals and lavender, which all come together beautifully in the glass. It expands beautifully onto the medium body, where its backed by fine, velvety tannins that trip firmly on the finish, leaving behind notes of red fruits, spices and smoke. Very appealing today, but will be even better in a few years. 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah. (Best 2016-2026) - October, 2015 (JD)                           92 POINTS
